- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I used to bank here. I got double billed on a fraudulent debit charge ($200 twice), so I disputed the charge. I showed the bank associate that the phone number associated with the debit was not even a working number. He said they would take care of it, but I would have to wait 30 days to get my money back. After 30 days I took off work and went in the office. A new associate who just transferred in told me I waited too long to deal with it, and because it was after 30 days I would lose all $400. The first associate that had all my info transferred to another bank and could not be contacted. This bank cost me $400 in fraudulent charges. I have had a fraud dispute about once per year since I switched to Wells Fargo (about 8 years ago) and I make one quick call and my money is back before they even start the investigation! Fraud is everywhere now! Don't pick a bank that will not defend your money! I'm not promoting any big bank (they all make their money from unfair fees, [$35 overdraft for $5 of gas, etc.]), just boycott this Regions Bank!By Sevrin Bancale, February 21, 2017
